With this, we will be renovating the website so it could meet the needs of our growing number of students.

Here is a list of what has changed on our site.

To All Students!

Everyone, as I have mentioned last week, these next two weeks we'll be holding you promotion exam. Though I have announced that the examination will start at the second session which is 2pm-4pm, it seems that the place is unavailable at that time. So now please take note that the exam will be held at the morning session at 10am - 12nn. Please make the arrangements.

As you all know, exam fees are separate from what you are paying in one session. Here are the details.

Exam fee: £25 per student
The exam fee will include your belts

Please notify me as soon as possible if there are problems. Payments should be maed directly to blackbelts. Please do not hand your payments to anyone else besides us.

On a separate note, I know some of you guys are asking for copies of the japanese terms that are needed for your exam. I'll be uploading the file tonight or the next, so please be patient.

Thank you and see you all in Sunday! Good Luck on your tests!

KDA-UK Tests the Waters of England

Cook's Moore Woods Leisure Centre, March 20, 2007 - Only after two months of founding the club, KDA-UK has sent two of its players to compete in the English Karate Organisation's National Tournament. Each player participated in the Kata (Form) and Kumite (Sparring) events and succeeded in catching the attention of the whole crowd. The participants were Harvey Perez (17) and Anthon Perez (8) managed to get a bronze and a silver medal for their efforts in the Kata events of the tournament.

Both players were coached by Senseis Henry and Daryl and were cheered upon the various members of the club.

This just proves that the quality of instruction and coaching of KDA-UK can match up to its british counterparts.
